As a co-organizer of Štrudlafest, Zora Foundation was proud to be one of the hosts for the first public presentation of the "Community Potential" Program, held on September 7th and 8th, 2024, in Jaškovo – the village of strudels. This innovative initiative by the National Foundation for Civil Society Development, as part of the i3.0 Strategic Partnership, brings together key partners with the goal of strengthening the potential of local communities and creating positive change through cross-sector collaboration.
As partners, we are actively participating in this important program with the mission of sustainable development for local communities, particularly through the connection of tourism and social economy.
Štrudlafest provided the perfect platform to present our strategic partners and their initiatives, offering visitors insight into how they can actively contribute to building better and more sustainable communities.
i3.0 Strategic Partnership
The "Community Potential" Program creates a space for collaboration between local organizations and both domestic and international institutions such as EURAC Research, European Foundation for Philanthropy and Civil Development, Relatomics Foundation, Tvrđave kulture Šibenik and Trokut Šibenik – Incubator for New Technologies. Through this network, all program participants have the opportunity to share their knowledge, experience, and resources to achieve tangible results through joint efforts.
At Zaklada Zora, we particularly emphasize the importance of this program in promoting sustainable development, not only at the local but also at the Euro-Mediterranean level. Through our collaboration with EURAC, we are working on activities and ideas related to renewable energy sources and other solutions that are improving or will improve the quality of life in our communities.
